Jesus’ ministry on earth was clear – He came to save sinners and heal the broken. At Last Call 4 Grace that’s the heartbeat of our mission as well. Guiding people to the love of Jesus and the healing and freedom He freely offers. That’s why we’d love for you to join the mission to change lives by volunteering in whatever way suits you best. Volunteers play such an important and valuable role in our ministry to the broken, poor, and orphaned. The community of Murfreesboro benefits from the work of individuals like you who are willing to freely share their talents, time, and resources. We are also partnering with Rescue One Global to be trained in identifying what to do as we encounter Human Trafficking. Through the dedicated service of our volunteers we are striving to make lasting connections while investing in the lives of individuals at what could well be the most vulnerable time of their life. Serving home-cooked meals is an open door where we are able to share encouragement, truth and the love of Christ. We have established connections with other Christ-centered organizations with some offering a place for those to lay their head while others offer inpatient treatment when needed. Our desire is to minister the love of Jesus and help meet the spiritual and physical needs of those in desperate situations.
Here is a key scripture we focus on with our New Believers: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ He is a new creation. The old has passed away and the new has come.
Our ministry relies on a small army of volunteers because most of what we do takes place in the field and requires several hands to do it. However, we do have a small office space for coordinating/packing meals, community outreach, training, coaching, and Bible study. We have an office staff of two, who carry out the daily responsibilities of keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Once you begin volunteering, you become a part of a group that supports you, prays for you and with you, and is here for you day after day.
