Mike Arnold, Board Member

Mike has been volunteering with LC4G for over seven years, along with his wife, Sherry. He was born and raised in Murfreesboro and has been an active member of Belle Aire Baptist Church for almost 40 years. For the last seven years, he has led an Adult Life Group class.

Mike participated in a life-changing Bible study called Christian Leadership Concepts, which is a two-year commitment. Eight years later, he is still meeting with those men as part of his spiritual growth and accountability. Mike has served on the Board of Directors for LC4G since 2018 and is currently the Board President.

Christopher Gerbman, Board Member

Chris is a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. For the last three decades, he has worked in Historic Downtown Murfreesboro with his wife, Karen. A member of Northside Baptist Church, Chris has been an active member of the Murfreesboro community. Over the years he has served on the boards of Main Street (including as Chairman), The Center for the Arts, and as a founding member of the Historic Downtown Murfreesboro Business Association.

He and his wife have three grown children and four grandkids.

Mark Henry, Board Member

Mark is a veteran of long-term care. He began his career as a nursing home administrator in Tennessee for National Health Care. He is currently the director of network design and strategy for Medicare, Complex Care, and Foster Care products at Centene Corp. Mark is a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church. He also serves as a group leader for the men’s Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) National Partnership of Tennessee at Chattanooga and currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with his wife of 34 years. Mark has three children and grandchildren.

Tammy Rene Poteete, Executive Director Non-voting Board Member

In 2005 Tammy’s husband died from substance abuse which pushed her to be more informed about the Substance Abuse Recovery Process. Her own journey of healing in mental health has created a passion for knowing a Believer’s true identity in Christ. Through the process of her personal journey, she housed women for the 180 Degrees Ministries program here in Murfreesboro for over three years. During that time, she attended the 12-month training at Grace Ministries of Tennessee and completed the program at 180 Degrees Ministries.

Tammy has four amazing children and five beautiful grandchildren that she adores.

Angela Cox, Board Member

God called Angela to ministerial service in 2014. She has served Murfreesboro through Last Call 4 Grace since 2012 where she is the Financial Administrator, a Board Member, and a course facilitator providing pastoral care. Angela is an Associate Minister at First Baptist Church on Castle St. under Pastor James McCarroll and an Adjunct Professor at Motlow State Community College’s Smyrna campus.

She has a passion for loving all people where they are. Her greatest desire is for everyone to experience freedom from their past hurts through an intimate relationship with God. Angela has three biological children and many other children God sends her to love.

Heather Baird, Board Member

Born in a rough part of California, Heather Baird knows firsthand what it feels like to live in poverty and the blessing that comes from ministries like LC4G and the church.

God did a radical work in her heart during her teens and called her to outreach ministry during a mission trip on Skid Row in 1999. She has been working in outreach ministry in a variety of roles for 22 years with an emphasis on youth ministry.

She is currently working on her Doctorate in Biblical Studies. The grace she has freely received is the same grace that she desires to share, so that all may feel loved, seen, valued, and invited to have a seat at the table. She is married to her husband Scott and they have 5 beautiful children.

Ashley McGlothin, Meal Coordinator

Ashley has been cooking for LC4G for many years. She makes the meals she prepares tasty with what the Lord provides. It is truly her passion to turn what others might consider nothing into something! Her desire is to feed our friends’ hearts, souls, and bodies at the same time. She cooks meals intentionally with love and truly cares for their nourishment.

Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends here in Tennessee and Kentucky. She has two beautiful children who are her world.

Brenda Hackney, Mobile Clothing Closet Coordinator

Brenda was born and raised in Rutherford County where she has lived her entire life. God called Brenda to LC4G in October 2021. In addition to managing LC4G’s mobile clothes closet, she also manages her Blessing Box ministry.  She was taught growing up to do for others what she would have done for herself. Her pastimes include flower gardening, riding motorcycles, and listening to music.

She loves spending time with her family and friends. She has two sons and four grandchildren.
